And now… Dun, dun, DUNNNNN, Here’s what you need to know about Summer Reading for the Upper School (grades 7 – 12): Students — both current and new — are required to complete the following assignments during the summer. Tests on the assigned novels will be administered on Monday, August 13, (and Monday, August 20, if two novels are required)after school resumes on August 8, 2018.

They’re at it again… We are so proud of these young ladies! Kaylyn Turner, recent grad Kaitlin Denton, and Lauren Denton represented the state of Mississippi in the Great Southwest Invitational track meet in Albuquerque, New Mexico! Kaylyn and Lauren ran in the 400 meter dash, as well as in the 4×1 and 4×4 relays. Kaitlin ran the 100 and 200 meter dashes, and the 4×1 relay as well.

Congratulations to Bradford Patton, recent graduate of the Class of 2018! He signed with Tougaloo College this morning to play baseball for the Bulldogs.
Bradford was team captain for the Hillcrest Cougars during the 2017 – 2018 season, and he had a batting average of .405; he also was chosen as First Team, All District. Coach Nathan Foreman calls Patton a “great leader,” and states that he will be a great addition to the Tougaloo Bulldogs’ team.
Kids, join us for Computer Camp this summer! It is July 16-20 and located in the Lower School computer lab. Only $40 for currently enrolled Cougar Care students and $65 for students not enrolled in Cougar Care. 1st through 3rd graders will meet from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 4th through 6th grades will meet from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This is the grade you have completed.
